This Site is NOT DOWN!
Hey people! Reports of dead Tribbles has been slightly exaggerated. I just haven’t posted much lately. Been too busy with other projects. So keep coming back and keep sending me all your comments man!!!!!!!!!

Ok, haven’t been updating that much, just got from vacation and have been busy working, but wanted to comment on the highlights from E3.
MS has a pretty tight showing, showcasing several exclusive titles, social networking, music and movie news. I have watched many E3’s and I have to say, this was probably MS’s best showing in the last 5 years, easily! So much news, so little time, where to begin?
Crackdown 2 is coming (SWEET!)
Splinter Cell
Halo ODST
Halo Reach
Alan Wake (Yes, it’s alive and well and look amazing!)
Shadow Complex from Epic
Tony Hawk
Instant, On-Demand full 1080p movies
Twitter coming to Xbox Live
Facebook coming to Xbox Live
Project Natal revealed
In particular, Project Natal was probably the biggest highlight of Microsoft’s conference- a motion sensing camera that follows your movements in games or simple navigation. But there’s more to it than that. The AI has face recognition and can even carry conversations. No controller required. Very Skynet, very Minority Report. AWESOME!!!
Hi everyone! Been getting lots of messages asking about little or no updates over the last week or so. Don’t fear, I am alive and well! Been on vacation and getting to the end of it (bummer) and figured I would drop a new video of the highly anticipated Zune HD.
The Zune HD is Microsoft’s answer to the iPod Touch and will offer touch navigation and function, HD radio, Zune Store access, Wi-fi and most importantly, access to Xbox Live’s large video library. No word on if it will play Xbox games, but some are expecting MS to announce this at E3 next week. In the meantime, check out the vid and let me know what you think! I like it!
It’s funny. All of these new Windows ads are creating such an uproar with “loyal” Mac users and now more than ever, I am convinced that diehard Mac owners have taken such a large bite of the Apple that they can’t help but be biased.
I am probably defeating myself here since I own a Macbook Pro, but Aidan Malley at AppleInsider is really having a difficult with Microsoft’s new PC campaign and these very successful new ads as he has historically suggested that Microsoft’s campaign is misleading and exaggerated. Hmmm, think, “Hello. I’m a Mac and I’m a PC.” We have all seen these funny little ads and Apple’s friendly way of jabbing the PC and in these ads, Apple has kindly reminded everyone how the PC will lock up and Vista has had some issues, but let’s not fool ourselves here- the Mac does run slow, does do things that you don’t expect and oh my gosh, it does freeze just like your nemesis. So Aidan, before you whine in your posts, be fair and be realistic. The Mac is great and all, but it’s not #1. Because if it was, it would suffering the same fate as the PC.
This just in, Kermit the Frog has died of the Swine Flu. Authorities are knee deep in mud on a pig hunt and suspect Miss Piggy may be targeting Statler and Waldorf next.

I trust by now that most of you have seen the new Star Trek movie. If you haven’t, don’t waste more time- go to the theater now! GREAT MOVIE!
Twitter is buzzing with Trek stuff, AKA nerd speak, but if anyone interested, Amazon has a great deal on Season 1 of Star Trek for $65.
There ya go, my plug on the movie. BTW, the new Transformers trailer looks pretty sweet, too!
So it’s sounding like 1 VS. 100 will actually have 101 people, but a few other details have been released. Each week, there are “normal” games and on Friday, Saturday and eventually Sunday, there will be “Live” games with guest celebrities and large prizes to be won. Most prizes to be won will be Xbox games and Microsoft points and apparently the weekday games will be somewhat short, fast games. The One is determined by a point system on how fast you answer questions. The Mob is open for anyone to join in. Lastly, because Xbox Live Primetime is free to Gold members, there are advertisements from sponsors like Sprint.
Overall, this new channel sounds like it could be a lot fun. And as long as they keep Bob Saget out, we’re good!
After months of speculation, it’s official, Guitar Hero Van Halen is incoming the second half of the year, likely to hit in August.
Activision’s Senior Vice President of Global Brand Management said, “Oh this is definitely Van Halen, not Van Hagar.” Not sure about this as I think Sammy was just as good in VH as Roth is/was. Either way, it should be fun and very frustrating to play! Rock on!

Microsoft and Epic Games announced today that Gears of War 2 has sold over 5 million copies worldwide, pushing the the overall “Gears of War” franchise unit sales above the 11 million unit mark. To celebrate such milestone, the companies announced today a special edition of Gears of War 2 that will include every downloadable content released for the game plus “Gears of War 2: Dark Corners” (which will be available separately for 1,600 Microsoft Points), a game add-on that includes seven new multiplayer maps and a brand new chapter titled “Road to Ruin” that was deleted from the game.
The seven new multiplayer maps in the “Gears of War 2: Dark Corners” Game Add-on are:

Sad day in the gaming world- Take Two is no longer funding 3D Realms and the dev studio is now shutdown. This means Duke Nukem Forever will most likely never see the light of day now.
Not overly shocking really, but if you have played Duke Nukem, you can’t help, but feel a little disappointed. I hope that 3D Realms can find some funding somewhere and get back to work.
